Atkinson County Citizen - July 31, 2008
 Mrs. Mildred Floyd Munchel, 87 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 
21, 2008 at his residence.
 She was born on April 26, 1921 to Charles and Gussie Paulk Floyd of Coffee 
County. Mildred was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother 
and an avid reader. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
 Visitation was Thursday, July 25, 2008 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Shirley Brothers 
Funeral Home Hill Chapel. A mass of Christian Burial was held June 25 at 10 
a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
 Mildred is survived by daughters, Carol Ann Morrow, Melanie Chalon, Mary 
Posmer, Barbara Minchel, Theresa Geyra, Janice Marbellos; sons, John F. 
Munchel, Wayne Munchel; Brother, Jack Amos Floyd; 15 grandchildren, 9 great 
grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her husband John A. Munchel and daughter Lara 
Munchel, sisters Martha Floyd McCrea, Willacoochee, GA, Mary Floyd Reason, 
LaGrange, GA.
