Atkinson County Citizen - May  24, 2015
 Ms. Marlene Murray, age 63, of Pearson passed away suddenly Saturday, May 9, at 
her residence.
 She was born July 3, 1951, to the late Virgle Murray and Gladeen Wright Murray.
 Survivors include son, David (Tracy) Taylor of Pearson; daughter, Amber (Jimmy) 
Jordan of Douglas; mother, Gladeen W. Murray of Axson; four brothers, H.P. Murray 
and Lester Murray both of Douglas, Iran Murray and Phillip Murray both of Axson; 
four grandchildren Chase (Jessica) Taylor and Hailey Taylor both of Pearson, 
Jaycee Jordan and Ansley Jordan both of Douglas; several nieces, nephews, friends 
and other relatives survive.
 Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Ozias Freewill 
Baptist Church in Pearson, GA. 
 Interment to follow in the Jowers Chapel Cemetery in Atkinson County.
 Ms. Murray will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. to lie in state until the 
funeral hour. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening, from 6 to 9 
p.m., at Ricketson Funeral Home.
 Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
