Atkinson County Citizen - November 2004
 Mr. Johnny H. Nugent of Wichita, Kansas passed away Saturday, November 20, 
2004 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington, KS from injuries received 
in an automobile accident.

 A native of Brunswick, GA, Mr. Nugent was born June 20, 1948 son of James Ira 
and Ethel McDonald Nugent. He was employed at Boeing Aircraft as a tool and die 
machinist. Mr. Nugent was also a Masonic Lodge member and a Shriner. He was a 
U.S. Coast Guard veteran and of the Catholic Faith.

 Survivors include 2 sons, John A. Nugent of Wichita, KS, and Jason Nugent of 
Kansas City, KS; 4 brothers, Paul Nugent of Kaw City, OK, Dan Nugent and wife 
Doris of Victoria, TX, James Ira Nugent of Kiln, Miss and Barney Nugent of 
Antler, ND, 1 sister, Boycie Ann Carter of Carriere, Miss.

 Funeral services for Mr. Nugent were held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 26, 2004 
at the Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Marvin Lefrois officiating. Soft 
music for the Prelude and Postlude was provide by Michelle White, organist. The 
interment followed in Holy Family Cemetery.

 Serving as active pallbearers were Roy McDonald, Michael Nugent, Johnny 
William Nugent, Lloyd McDonald, Paul Nugent II and Ryan Nugent.

 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
