Atkinson County Citizen - June 26, 2008
  Mr. Jack Nugent, age 70, of Pearson, GA passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 at 
Tattnall Healthcare in Reidsville, GA following an extended illness.
  A native of Coffee County, Mr. Nugent was born September 4, 1937, son of John 
B. Nugent and Ruth Aldridge. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Holy 
Family Catholic Church. Mr. Nugent was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Bernard 
Nugent, Joe Nugent and Tommy Nugent.
  Survivors include, wife, Barbara Douglas Nugent of Pearson, GA; three sons, 
John Nugent and wife Jo of Mora, GA, Barry Nugent of Pearson, GA, Chris "Pokey" 
Nugent and wife Kristy of Millwood, GA; daughter, Marsha Nugent of Eufaula, AL; 
brother, Paul Nugent and wife Carolyn of Brunswick, GA; three sisters, Mary 
Virginia Clark and husband Harry of Brunswick, GA, Dolly Deen and husband Emory 
of Bainbridge, GA.; 4 grandchildren, Johnathan Nugent and wife Kelly of Axson, 
GA, Brian Nugent of Axson, GA, Ryan Thompson and Kailey Nugent of Millwood, GA; 
2 great-grandchildren, Jaden and Jesalyn Nugent of Axson, GA.
 A private memorial service for Mr. Nugent will take place at a later time.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
