He was born on July 3, 1907, in Lax to the late Micajah C. and Mary Jane Harper Paulk. Mr. Paulk lived most of his life in Berrien County. He was a farmer and contractor. He was an alumnus of the 1929 class of Berry College, this being the first year of baccalaureate graduation service at Berry. He worked at the Nuclear Research Facility in Oakridge, Tenn., and was of the Episcopal faith. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews who were loved by him. He is survived by his devoted nieces, Elizabeth Steedley of Homerville, Charlene Malcom, Ty Ty, Laura Barr, Pensacola, Fla., Janis Davidson, Binghamton, N.Y.; and several other nieces and nephews; two devoted sisters, Betty Smith, Ty Ty, and Alloween Davidson, Brunswick. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Acy Paulk, and two sisters, Edna Ray and Narcis Dill. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors. Burial will be held in Willacoochee City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mr. Paulk's great-nephews.
