Atkinson County Citizen - August 12, 2010
 Anthony Michael Perez, age 14, of Pearson, GA passed away Tuesday, August 3, 201
2010 in Pearson, GA due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
 A native of Athens, Alabama, Anthony was born on February 6, 1996, the son of Si
Simon Hernandez and Catalina Perez. He was a 9th grade student at Atkinson Co
County High School
 Survivors include, parents, Simon Hernandez and Catalina Perez of Pearson, Ga; b
brother, Giovanni Alfredo Hernandez of Pearson, GA; sister, Alexis Guadalupe P
Perez of Pearson, GA; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
 Funeral services for Mr. Perez were held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 at 
St. Paul Catholic Church in Douglas, GA with Father Daniel O’Connel and Deacon Jorg
Jorge Pedoga officiating. The interment followed in Sweetwater Cemetery in Pear
Pearson, GA.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Alonso Gonzales, Eduardo Castillo, Yoni Lop
Lopez, Adam Lumpkin, Miguel Gonzales, Jimmy Guadron, Jaime Lopez and Francisco Con
Contreras. Honorary pallbearers were the freshman class of Atkinson County High Sch
School.
 Relihan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
