Relihan, age 65, of Brunswick, GA formerly of Pearson, GA passed aw away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at his home. Born August 30, 1946 in Douglas, GA, Mr. Relihan was the son of the late J.C. a and Lucille Relihan. He retired last year from the Georgia Department of T Transportation as a Bridge Inspector. He was a United States Navy Veteran of t the Vietnam Conflict and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by h his first wife, Lura Batten Relihan, his sister, Carroll Relihan Ditteaux and n nephew, Britt Mosher. Survivors include wife, Leah Relihan of Brunswick, GA; son, Josh Relihan of Brunswick, GA; step-son, Josh Carter of Brunswick; step-daughter, Rachael Dowling of Brunswick, GA; brothers, Malrie “Buddy” and wife Billye of Darien, G GA and George Relihan and wife Kay of Pearson, GA; several nieces and nephews a also survive. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Relihan were held at 11 a.m., Monday, February 20, 2012 at Royals Cemetery in Pearson, GA with Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. Eulogies were given by Gerald Corbitt, Lorena Barrios, Lisa Rozier and George Relihan. Special poem and song was rendered by niece Valerie Batten. Special musical selection included “Friends” rendered by Angie Odom. Interment followed in Royals Cemetery with Military honors provided by a US Honor Honor Guard Contingent from Albany, GA. Serving as active pallbearers were Bill Biddy, Gerald Corbitt, Vance Peterson, Harry Harry Mullis, Dustin Corbitt, Roger Metts, Robby Giddens, LH James, Russell Batte Batten.
