Final Rites for Shellie Roberts, 72, at Macclenny, FL
 Shellie D. Roberts, 72, of Macclenny, Fla. formerly of Willacoochee passed 
away Tuesday, April 6, after an illness of several months.
 He was the son of the late Robert Rowan Roberts and Laura Clements Roberts of 
Willacoochee. Mr. Roberts left Willacoocee as a young man for a career in the 
telephone business. At his death he held controlling interest in the Northeast 
Florida Telephone Companies of Macclenny, Sanderson and Glen-St. Marys.
 Surviving are his wife, a son, S. D. Roberts of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, 
Mrs. Marie Officer, Jacksonville, FL; three step-children, Mrs. Linda Combs, 
Glen-St. Marys, Paul and Leon Conner also of Glen-St. Marys; two sisters, Mrs. 
Nerle Corbett, Pearson, Mrs. Vera Yawn, Thills, NY; three brothers, Messers. 
Owen R., J.W. and Edwin Roberts all of Willacoochee.
 Funeral services were held Thursday P.M. in the Church of God at Macclenny. 
Interment in the Macclenny Cemetery.
