The Atkinson County Citizen, Pearson, GA
 James Roberts, age 74, of 653 Whatley Drive, Ashburn, Georgia, died Sunday, 
December 26, 1993 in a local hospital in Ashburn, GA.
 Born in Atkinson County, GA, he was a retired civil service employee and a 
world war II veteran. He was the son of the late Robert Rowan Roberts and Laura 
Clements Roberts. He was a member of the Church of God.
 Survivors include his wife, Barbara M. Roberts of Ashburn; his children, 
Lauren Roberts of Anniston, AL, Marcus Roberts of Charleston, SC, Jimmy Roberts 
of Jacksonville and Ruth Ann Coursin of Waycross; stepchildren, Derrick Yancy 
of Ashburn and Diana Bodrogg of Tallahassee, FL; brother and sisters, Levi 
Edwin Roberts of Willacoochee, Mary Corbett of Pearson and Vera Yawn of 
Reidsville; seven grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
 Services were held Tuesday, December 28, 1993 at 11:00 in Perry Funeral 
Chapel. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn.
