Passed away Monday, September 21, 2015, at Shady Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Douglas, GA. Following a brief illness. A native of Coffee County, Mrs. Rollins was born October 29, 1914, daughter of John and Cora Belle Wilcox Vickers. She spent most of her adult life in Hopewell, VA where she worked and retired from the Hopewell News Newspaper. She returned to Pearson several years ago to spend time with her family and friends. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by four sisters, five brothers, her first husband, Dorsett Meeks and her second husband, Omar Rollins. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, other family members and many good friends. Graveside services for Mrs. Rollins were Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Sweetwater Cemetery with Bishop Dan Vickers officiating. The interment followed in Sweetwater Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were Cray Grantham, Delbert Davis, Greg Vickers, Gary Vickers, Brett Mizell, Jesse Mizell. Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, GA. Was in charge of the arrangements.
