Atkinson County Citizen - March 4, 2006
 Mrs. Kathleen Rowland Rowe, age 65 of Willacoochee, GA passed away Wednesday 
morning, March 1, 2006 at Clinch Memorial Hospital in Homerville, GA following 
an extended illness.
 A native of Atkinson County, Mrs. Rowe was born September 18, 1940, daughter 
of David Wesley and Bertha Taft Rowland. She was a retired seamstress and 
attended Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church. Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death 
by a son, Randy Rowe.
 Survivors include her husband, Billy Rowe of Willacoochee, GA; daughter, 
Carmen Lott and husband Buddy of Willacoochee, GA.
 Brothers, J.W. Rowland of Douglas, GA, Gene Rowland of Winter Haven, FL and 
David Rowland of Valdosta, GA; three grandchildren, Tonya Hurley and husband 
Chris of Willacoochee, GA, Chad Lott and wife Theresa of Willacoochee, GA and 
Michael Rowe of Blackshear, GA; five great-grandchildren, Caleb Hurley, CaLyn 
Hurley, Caetyn Huley, Laney Lott and Jayden Lott, several nieces and nephews 
also survive.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Rowe were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 
the Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church with Sister Bernice Phillips Day, Rev. 
David Rowe and  Rev. David Allegood officiating.
 Special musical selections included, "When I Wake Up," "Wind Beneath My Wings" 
and "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" rendered by soloist, Jason Hunkapillar with 
taped accompaniment and "Picture of You Without Me" played by tape. Soft music 
for the prelude and postlude was provided by Wendy Spikes, pianist.
 The interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery.
 Service as active pallbearers were, Grant Rowland, Glen Rowland, Russell 
Joiner, John Rowe, Mike Paulk, Keith Joiner.
 Serving as honorary pallbearers were nephews.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
