Atkinson County Citizen - November 20, 2008
 Gene Sears, 73, of Zephyrhills, passed away November 7, 2008, at Hernando-
Pasco Hospice of Dade City.
 He was born January 6, 1935, in Axson, GA to Elmer and Lillian Sears.
 Some of his memberships included Elks Moose and Eagles Lodges. He attended 
Fellowship Baptist Church in Tampa.
 He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 26 years, Mary Sears; three sons, 
Michael (Terri) Sears, Tommy (Ann) Sears and Charlie Sears, and six 
grandchildren, Katy, Lacey, Jacob, Ashley, Autum, Caitlyn.
 A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 13 at Hodges Funeral 
Home in Zephyrhills, FL.
 Hodges Family Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
