A native of Willacoochee, GA Mr. Shaw was born on April 12, 1930, son of B Bernard and Myrtle Tyson Shaw. Mr. Shaw was a retired grocery store owner and o operator. He was a member of the Willacoochee Masonic Lodge and his church m membership was at Willacoochee United Methodist Church. Me Shaw was preceded in d death by his wife Loris Mobley Shaw. Survivors include, son, Ken Shaw and wife, Alisha of Douglas, GA; daughter, Wanda Shaw of Willacoochee, GA.; 3 grandchildren, Kara Shaw of Douglas, GA, Kellyn Kellyn Seymour of Pearson, GA, Ilynn Shaw of Jacksonville, FL; 4 great grandchildren, Jadalyn Shaw, Caleb Seymour, Sara Seymour and Colin Wade; 1 step g great grandchild, Cameron Seymour. Funeral services for Mr. Shaw were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the Willacoochee United Methodist Church with Rev. Jan Conner and Rev. Frank Littleton officiating. Special music selections were "Because He Lives" rendered by Craig McKinnon with Kellie Ruth Lockwood accompanying on the piano and "Amazing Grace" rendered by the attending congregation with Kellie Ruth Lockwood on the piano and Fred Paulk on the mouth harp. Soft music for the pre prelude and postlude was provided by Kellie Ruth Lockwood, pianist. The interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were Bill McCranie, Ed Tillman, Junior Cooper, C Charlie Bray, Jimmy Grantham, Elmer Luke. Honorary pallbearers were Anthony Morris, Ray Morris, Lace Futch, James Carter, Herman Tucker, Bill Paulk, Jim Paulk, Wilson Paulk, Fred Paulk, Harry Brown, Bobby Minchew, Gerald Hayes, Mark Tucker, Boots Corbitt, Henry Moore.
