Atkinson County Citizen - June 25, 2015
 Paul D. Sisler, 82, of Arnoldsville, GA passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015.
 Born in Erwin, West Virginia in 1932, he was the son of Harry and Gertrude 
Moats Sisler.
 Paul served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and after retiring, 
worked for the United States Postal Service for 20 years. He was a wonderful 
husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and 
spending time with his family.
 He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cora Susan Sisler. He had one daughter, 
Paula Susan Sisler and husband, Armando Rodriguez; two grandchildren, Sarah 
Brooke Sisler and Armando Samuel Rodriguez of Watkinsville, GA. He is survived 
by a sister in law, Julie Rhodes and brother in law, Don Rhodes of Athens, GA; 
brother in law, Roy “Buck” Thomas of Winterville, GA. He is also survived by 
three brothers, Clifford Sisler, Delmar Sisler and Ted Sisler, all of West 
Virginia.
 A memorial luncheon and celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Sunday, June 
28 from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the Grove Chapel Church Fellowship Hall in 
Winterville, GA. All family and friends are invited to attend. Anyone wishing to 
worship with his church family is welcome to the morning service at 11 a.m., 
although it is not a part of the memorial celebration.
The family asked that, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his honor 
to the American Cancer Society, Athens, GA 30605
 At a later date, his family will travel to Willacoochee, GA for interment 
there.
 Bernstein Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
