Atkinson County Citizen - June 1, 2006
 Mr. Royce Smith, age 65, of Willacoochee, GA passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006 
at home following an extended illness.
 Born in Polk County, FL, October 31, 1940, son of R.B. and Ethel Hutto Smith. 
Mr. Smith had been a long time resident of Willacoochee, GA. He was a retired 
Engineer with the Civil Service and a member of the Willacoochee Masonic Lodge 
#197. F&AM for 15 years where he served as Master of the Lodge in 1994 and 
Secretary for 5 years. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran 
of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in 
Pearson. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mary Catherine 
Falcitelli.
 Survivors include his wife Carolyn Smith of Willacoochee, GA, son, Gordon 
Smith and wife Renee of Temecula, GA; three daughters, Jenny Lott and husband 
Robert of Willaoochee, GA, Tinker Falcitelli and wife Dan of Ypsilanti, 
Michigan and Mary Carter and husband Bryan of Douglas, GA; three brothers, 
Ronald Smith of Charleston, SC, Robert Smith of Jacksonville, FL and Roger 
Smith of Griffin, GA; sister, Ann Mills of Columbia, SC; eight grand-children, 
several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Graveside funeral services and interment for Mr. Smith were held at 11 a.m. 
Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Holy Family Cemetery with Father John O'Brien 
officiating.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Jerry Mixon, Larry Robinson, Shane 
McDonald, Don McDonald, David Warren and Jae Brantley.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements.
