Atkinson County Citizen - December 4, 2008
  Mr. Stuart Michael Smith, age 47, of Nashville, GA passed away Monday 
morning, November 24, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness.
  A native of Coffee County, Mr. Smith was born October 30, 1961, son of Hiram 
Joshua and Montez Rowe Smith.
  He lived in Pearson and Willacoochee before moving to Nashville. He worked in 
construction and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U.S. 
Army.
  Survivors include three daughters, Felicity Smith of Pearson, GA, April Smith 
of Pearson, GA, Meagan Smith Carver of Pearson, GA; Son, Jeremy Smith of Ft. 
Walton Beach, FL; companion, Sandy Olson of Ft. Walton Beach FL; sister Evelyn 
Jackie Larson of Waycross, GA; four brothers, Quincy Allen "Buddy" Smith of 
Gadsen, AL, Donnie Theron Smith and wife Karen of Phoenix City, Hiram Joshua 
Smith, Jr. and wife Shera of Douglas, GA and Johnny Wayne Smith and wife Candi 
of Pueblo, Colorado; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
 Graveside funeral services for Mr. Smith were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, 
November 26, 2008 at the Willacoochee City Cemetery with Elder John S. Mikell 
officiating. Special musical selections included "Jesus Loves Me the Same" 
and "I Saw the Light" rendered by Richard Stone, soloist/guitarist.
 The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
