 Mrs. Marion Deloris "Lois" Rowe Smith, age 77, of Willacoochee, passed away lat
late Sunday night, February 24, 2013, at her residence following an extended ill
illness.
 Mrs. Smith, a native of Atkinson County, was the daughter of the late Willie Wa
Washington Rowe and the late Mary Ann Knowles Rowe and the wife of the late Wi
William Marion "Buster" Smith. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Wi
William Daniel Smith and Charles Roger Smith, 3 sisters, Doris R. Jacobs, Lila Wa
Wagoner, and Willa Mae Spivey, 4 brothers, Jordan Rowe, Hubert Rowe, Travis Ro
Rowe and Burnell Rowe, and a great grandson, Dennis Todd Mason, Jr.
  Mrs. Smith was a member of the Willacoochee Church of God.
 Survivors include, 4 daughters, Linda S. Carver and Janice S. (Howard) Laney 
both of Willacoochee, GA,  Theresa S. (Jimmy) Mathis of Lakeland, GA, and Angie 
S. (Jake) Bowen of Douglas, GA; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 8 
great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
 Funeral services were held Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Willacoochee
Willacoochee Church of God, with Rev. Daniel Sansot, Rev. Jeremy DeLoach, and 
Rev. Levi Jones officiating. A eulogy was presented by William "Buster" Laney. 
Special musical selections, "Miss You," was presented by the soloist, Kimberlynn
Kimberlynn Dupree, "It's Not Goodbye," was presented by Brian & Crystal Sirmans
Sirmans, and "Through the Fire," was presented by Crystal Sirmans and Jessica Be
Benefield, all with taped music. At the gravesite, "Run my Last Mile Home," was pr
presented by cd music.
  Interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Jason Hersey, Brandon, Meiss, Shaun Smith, Ryan Mason, Kiree 
Hersey, McCade Grahan.
 Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
