She was born in Dodge County and had lived in Berrien and Atkinson Counties most of her life. She was a member of the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Allie Thomas Steverson, who died in 1975. She is survived by: two daughters, Nellie Smith and Clara Gaskins, both of Jacksonville, FL; four sons, Billie Steverson, Alapaha; Ray Steverson, Willacoochee; Jimmy Steverson, Nashville; Lamar Steverson, Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Mary Clements, Haines City, FL; one brother, Jeff Floyd, Willacoochee. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Steverson. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday in the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Connell officiating. Burial will be in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
