Atkinson County Citizen - January 2005
 Raymond Troupe, 54, of Ocilla, GA, died Thursday, January 13, 2005 at his 
residence.

 Mr. Troupe was born March 11, 1950, in Atkinson Co., GA to Elzie Mancil Troupe 
and the late Edward Troupe. He lived in Irwin County most of his life. 

 Mr. Troupe was a graduate of East Central Technical College. He was a brick 
mason and carpenter, having worked for Music & Worth Inc. in Live Oak, FL. Mr. 
Troupe was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Willacoochee. He was an 
avid woodworker and loved to build furniture.

 Mr. Troupe is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Buck Veazey 
of Leesville, AL and Amanda and Stanley Wilkes of Lyons, GA; seven 
grandchildren; mother, Elzie Troupe of Pearson, GA; five brothers, Grover 
Troupe of Pearson, GA, David Troupe of SC, Wendell Troupe of Douglas, GA and 
Larry and Donnie Troupe both of Pearson. Several nieces and nephews also 
survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Buddy and Terry Troupe.

 Paulk Funeral Home Ocilla, was in charge of arrangements.
