Atkinson County Citizen - December 2004
 Mr. Levonne "Buddy" Vining, age 67 of Willacoochee, GA passed away Monday, 
December 20, 2004 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA following a 
brief illness.

 A native of Coffee County, Mr. Vining was born April 23, 1937 son of Owen and 
Mary Riner Vining, he retired after serving 22 years with the U.S. Air Force as 
a Tech Sgt. and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Vining was preceded in death by 
his wife, Marianne Jageman Vining.

 Survivors include one son, Robert Vining of 29 Palms, CA; one daughter, Tanja 
White and husband Edward of Willacoochee, GA; four brothers, Eston Vining of 
Valdosta, GA, J.L. Vining of Willacoochee, GA, Jimmy Vining of Fernandina 
Beach, FL and Bill Vining of Topeka, KS; four sisters, Thelma Overstreet of 
Jacksonville, FL, Mary Ellen Reliford of Willacoochee, GA, Beth Bennett of Ray 
City, GA and Virginia Stone of Douglas, GA; two grandchildren, Jacqueline White 
and Rory A. White. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

 Graveside funeral services for Mr. Vining were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, 
December 23, 2004 at the Willacoochee City Cemetery with Rev. Larry Stone 
officiating. The interment with full Military Honors provided by an Honor Guard 
Contingent from Moody Air Force Base followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.

 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements.
