Atkinson County Citizen - February 22, 2007
 Mrs. Margaret Morris Walker, age 76 of Pearson, GA passed away Saturday 
evening, February 10, 2007 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA following an 
extended illness.
 Mrs. Walker was born April 7, 1930 in Colleton Co., SC, daughter of Leon S. 
and Katherine Stoll Morris. She had been a long time resident of Atkinson 
County where she worked as a Clinical Nursing Assistant with Tender Care. She 
was of the Presbyterian faith. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband 
James Edward Walker.
 Survivors include sons, Wayne Walker of Pearson, GA and Jimmy Walker and wife 
Loretta of Augusta, GA; daughter, Judy Stalvey and husband Randy of 
Jacksonville, NC; sister, D. Chester of Summerville, SC.;seven grandchildren, 
one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Walker were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 
2007 at the First Baptist Church in Pearson, with Rev. Robert Spivey, Bishop 
Steve Sirmans and Mr. Jake Stalvey officiating. Special musical selections 
included "How Great Thou Art: rendered by soloist Loretta Walker with Mary Ann 
Williams accompanying at the piano. Soft music for the prelude and postlude was 
provided by Mary Ann Williams, pianist.
 The interment followed in Satilla Memorial Gardens.
 Serving as active pallbearers were grandsons Christopher Walker, Jonathan 
Walker, Chase Walker, Randy Stalvey, Jr., Jake Stalvey, Justin Stalvey.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
