The son on John Wall and Ada Nicholson Wall and step son of Eva Mae Wall, He was born of May 30, 1923. A Pearl Harbor survivor, Mr. Wall, served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Arizona. Upon his retirement from the New York State Health Department in 1978, he returned to his southern roots. After several years in Fernandina Beach, FL, he eventually relocated to Lee, FL where he spent the last years of his life tending his ranch. Survivors include his son Richard J. Wall, daughter in law, Geraldine, two grandsons, Richard Jr. and Jeffrey of New York, brother, James E. "Buddy" of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Betty Jean Lewis of Keller, TX, a sister in law, Arvie Wall of Willacoochee, GA. and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Wall was predeceased by his wife, Anita Louise Tos, his father, mother, stepmother, and brothers, Bernard, J.D., Dean, Jessie Lee, Julius and sister, Mary Elizabeth. He will be cremated at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Lake City, FL.
