A native of Atkinson Count6y, Mr. Wall was born March 17, 1925 son of Coleman and Birta Lucille Keaton Wall. He was a retired farmer and businessman. He attended electrician school in Chicago, Ill. and worked for REA for a number of y years. He also served on the Board of Directors at Satilla REA for thirty y years. He was a member of American Legion Post #173 in Pearson, GA and was a U U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. His favorite pastime was fishing. His church m membership was at First Baptist Church in Pearson, GA. He was preceded in death b by his wife, Lorraine Mullis Wall; two sisters, Madrie Selph and Lutra Wall and a a brother Bernard Wall. Survivors include, two sons, Keith Wall and wife, Iris of Pearson, GA and Stanley Wall and special friend, Mary Jo Kelly of Hortense, GA; four sisters, Maxine Wall of Jacksonville, FL, Mary Ann Ledford of Charlotte, NC, Estelle Connolly and husband Tom of Wilmington, NC and Amanda C. Mizel and husband Nick o of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Chris Wall, Angela Bray and husband Ashley a and Kayla Parrish and husband Andrew; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Wall were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Pearson, GA with Rev. Jerry Worzella officiating. Special musical selection included “Amazing Grace” and “Take My Hand, Precious Lord” rendered by soloist Bonnie Corbitt with Christopher Davis acc accompanying at the piano. Soft music for the prelude and the postlude was by Can Candace Brown, organist. The interment followed in Satilla Memorial Gardens. Serving as active pallbearers were Starling Mercer, Dougie Mullis, Jimmy Wall, J Joey Morris, Glenn Walker, Bo Fender. Honorary pallbearers were Nick Mizell, Bobby Mullis, Foster Davis, Ellie Morris, Morris, Jimmy Johnson, Joe Mercer, Deen Strickland.
