Mrs. Walters was born in Pearson, GA and moved to Fl Florida with her family in 1954. She was a dedicated Christian and a life long Ba Baptist by faith. She loved fishing and kayaking from her home on the Wi Withlacoochee River and was a student and avid fan of football. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of S Science in Business Administration. She was a retired Certified Public A Accountant and was a member of both the Florida Institute of Public Accountants a and the American Institute of Public Accountants. She also held a Florida Real E Estate Brokers license for over 30 years. She was an accomplished professional h holding such positions as President and CEO of Systems Automation, a computer s service company and President of Walters Financial Corporation, a real estate c consulting firm. Mrs. Walters is preceded in death by her father, Peter P. Summerlin, her mother, Eulice D. Summerlin, both of Orlando, two sisters, Edna S. Roberts of Orlando and Elizabeth Summerlin of Inglis, and a brother, Veryl M. Summerlin of W Webster, FL. She is survived by her loving husband, Rodney N. Walters of Inglis, a loving and loved daughter, Heather E. Borden of Danielsville, GA, two loving and loved step-daughters, Dr. L. Melissa Walters of Tampa, and Cynthia S. Walters of Orlando, Christopher Borden husband of Heather Borden of Danielsville, GA and one grandson, Emeth Gail Borden of Danielsville, GA, two sisters, Imogene J Jordan of Waycross, GA and JoAnn Clemons of Orlando, and numerous nieces and n nephews. Funeral arrangement was being conducted by Strickland Funeral Home of Crystal River, FL. Funeral services will be held at the New Harmony Grove Baptist Church in Pearson, GA on December 30.
