Mrs Watson was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Martha McKinnon Mancil and she was the widow of Robert L. Watson. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by brothers, Pearlie and William Mark Mancil; sisters, Elzie M. Troupe and Beatrice Walker. She had worked as a licensed practical nurse for forty years during which she worked for Dr. Ship, Pearson, GA in early years, Douglas Hospital and Homerville, GA for Dr. Terry. She worked the majority of years at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jimmy Spikes officiating. Music was provided by John Lang who played the piano and sang "Beulah Land." Interment followed in Antioch Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dewayne Mancil, James Troupe, Tim Troupe, Keith Harper, Eugene Edge, Jared Troupe. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and other relatives. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
