White, age 51, of Pearson, GA passed away Thursday afternoon, November 24, 2005 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA following a brief illness. A native of Coffee County, Mr. White was born August 17, 1954 son of Chester Envey and Onie Lee Davis White. He worked as a welder for many years until retiring due to poor health. Mr. White was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pearson, GA. He was preceded in death by a brother Envey Wendell White. Survivors include his wife; Arlene Douglas White of Pearson, GA; three sons; Justin White and wife, Teresa of Douglas, GA, Josh White and Ethan White of Pearson, GA; two brothers, Bruce White and wife Catherine of Douglas, GA and Raymond White and wife Betty of Blackshear, GA; two sisters, Linda Bennett and husband Virgil of Pearson, GA and Donetta Wilkinson and husband Joe of Pearson, GA; and two grandchildren, Wayne White and Ty White. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. White were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2005 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pearson, GA with Bishop Lamar Park, Bishop Steve Sirmans and Elder Justin White officiating. Memories were given by Mr. White's son, Ethan White and the Eulogy was given by Elder Jamie James. Special musical selections included "Did You Think To Pray," "Because I Have Been Given Much" and "Till We Meet Again" rendered by the congregation with Ellen Hardee accompanying at the piano, "Families Can Be Together Forever" rendered by family members with Ellen Hardee accompanying at the piano and "Believe" and "Hurt" provided by tape. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was provided by Ellen Hardee, pianist. The interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery with the dedication of the grave given by Mr. White's brother, Elder Bruce White. Serving as active pallbearers were Eric Bennett, Chett Bennett, Phillip Mullis, Joseph White, Julio Martinez and Keegan Wilkinson. Serving as honorary pallbearers were "The Hardee's Breakfast Gang, Tim Cecil, Howie Pierce and Joe Wilkinson. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
