 James W. White, 79, of Francis, FL passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Kin
Kindred Hospital North Florida in Green Cove Springs, FL following an extended ill
illness. He was born in Axson, GA and had been a resident of Francis for the pas
past 53 years, coming from Axson, GA. He was a retired supervisor in concrete blo
block manufacturing, working for Poage Building Supply, Dawkins and Florida Roc
Rock Industries. He also manufactured concrete steps. He was a member of the Chu
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. James was preceded in death by his wif
wife, Juanita G. White; six brothers and two sisters.
 He is survived by son, James "Dan" White and his fiancee', Claudia Corbett of Fr
Francis; daughter, Karen Engle of Francis; brother, Billy White of Palatka; th
three grandchildren and spouses, Sherri and Ian McClellan of Francis, Chris Wh
White of Gainesville and Terry and Christina White of Jacksonville; and six gr
great grandchildren Corey Engle, Samantha McClellan, Mathew McClellan, Breanna Mc
McClellan, Matthew A. White and Gabriel R. White.
 Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the Masters F
Funeral Home of Palatka with President Bill Herrington presiding and Bishop C
Clay Davis conducting.
 Committal services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Utah Cemetery 
in Axson, GA. In honor and celebration of James' live a video tribute was 
shown. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
 Masters Funeral Home of Palatka was in charge of arrangements.
