Atkinson County Citizen - March 14, 013
 Lavada May White, age 94, of Alma, GA passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013 a
at Bacon County Hospital following a brief illness. 
 Mrs. White was born on April 15, 1918, in Axson, GA to the late Julius 
M. “Bud” and Olier Corbitt may.
 Survivors include seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and four great-great
great-grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie White, three sons, 
William “Billy” White, John Ellis White, Julius “Buddy” White, daughter, Mary Ol
Ola White, two grandchildren, Carey White, Stephen Tanner and three brothers, J.
J.D. May, Bill May and Ellis May.
 Funeral Service was held on Monday, march 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Axon Church o
of God of Prophesy with Rev. Travis Peavy and Rev. Brit Peavy officiating. 
 Interment following at Axson Cemetery.
 Music was furnished for the service by Joann Stallworth “Now I Have 
everything” and “He Whispers Sweet Peace” with Neil White playing the piano.
 Active pallbearers were Charles Gibson, John Morgan, Jason Salas, Christopher 
Mullins, Junior Loza, T.J. Hamm.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
