Atkinson County Citizen - January 17, 2010
 John Darrell Wilkes, born in Coffee County, GA on May 20, 1971 passed away at 
the residence of his parents, Donnie and Laurel Wilkes on Friday, December 25, 
2009.
 Mr. Wilkes had resided in Lake Wales, FL but was formerly of Pelham, GA and 
was a member of Lake Wales Assembly of God Church.
 Funeral services were held at Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home Chapel, Pelham, 
GA on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment was followed at 
Pinecrest Memory Gardens.
 The family held visitation services on Wed. December 31, 2009 from 6 until 
8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating over services was Rev. Phillip 
Kirkland and Rev. Jeff Brooks. 
 Pallbearers included Teddy Williamson, Jeff Brooks, Skeeter Weeks, Wayne 
Sanders, Tracy Hooks, Allen Kirby, Zand Shandholtzer.
 Survivors include spouse Katherine Merrbach Wilkes of Lake Wales, FL, 
daughter, Catherine Wilkes of Pelham, GA; parents Donnie and Laurel Wilkes of 
Pearson, GA; sister, Michelle Warren of Pelham, GA
