Atkinson County Citizen - September 30, 2004
 Mr. George Fussell Williams, age 78, of Pearson, GA passed away on Thursday, 
September 16, 2004 at home in Atkinson Co., GA.

 Mr. Williams, a native of Coffee Co., GA was born October 22, 1925 son of the 
late Oliver and Miriam Fussell Williams. He was a retired farmer and his church 
membership was at the Stokesville Baptist Church.

 Survivors include wife, Arlean Batten Williams, Pearson, GA, daughters, Nancy 
(Lace) Futch, Willacoochee, GA, Connie (William) King, Pearson, GA, Lori Ann 
(Bennie) Pharris, Atlanta, GA; Sister, Sallie Meeks, Baldwin, FL, E. W. "Corny" 
Williams, Iowa, Frances Williams, Nicholls, GA; grandchildren, Kelli King, 
William Oliver King, Victoria Ann King, William Fussell Futch, Amanda Pharris, 
Johnathan Pharris & Tyler Pharris, nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 at the Sims 
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Winston Wright & Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating. 
Larry Lewis, soloist sang "Beulah Land" & "Amazing Grace" with Lois Mills, 
pianist. Burial followed in the Royals Cemetery in Atkinson County, GA.

 Active pallbearers were Hampton Giddens, Donald Ray Lott, Michael Williams, 
Shelly Chancey, Bronson Coffee and Virgil Batten.

 Honorary pallbearers were Marvin Giddens and Dr. Jack Williams.

 Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
