Atkinson County Citizen - January 11, 2007
 Mrs. Helen O'Brien Williams, age 84, of Axson, GA passed away Sunday morning, 
January 7, 2007 at her home following an extended illness.
 A native of Atkinson County, Mrs. Williams was born February 3, 1922, daughter 
of Henry and Minnie Spivey O'Brien. She was a homemaker and a member of the 
Holy Family Catholic Church. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her 
husband, Selvin Williams, her son, Russell Williams, four brothers, J. H. 
O'Brien, J.H. O'Brien, J.W. O"Brien, Edward O"Brien, Johnny O"Brien and 
sisters, Theresa Ricketson and Mary Morris.
 Survivors include a daughter, Montene Vizena and husband Larry of Douglas, GA; 
four grandchildren, Stephen Wilkerson and wife Kathy, Melinda Phillips and 
husband Stacey, Carol Purvis and husband Wade, Andy Williams; sister, Margaret 
Mizell of Pearson, GA; 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; 
several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Williams were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 
2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Dan O'Connell officiating. 
Special organ solos were provided by Marshal Morris, organist. Soft music for 
the prelude and postlude was provided by Marsha Morris, organist. The interment 
followed in Utah Cemetery.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Michael Wilkerson, E. O'Brien, Stanley 
Mizell, Brian Bush, Craig Morris, Nick Mizell.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of 
arrangements.
