 Mr. James Young was born November 5, 1935 to the late Mr. Henry and Elizabeth Brown

Brown Young in Millwood, GA. He attended school in Atkinson County, GA.
 On March 7, 1954, James was united in holy matrimony to Roberta McCrary Young.

James kept his vows to the Lord until he was called home to eternal rest on April 2
April 20, 2012. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Magdalene and Eddis Otto;
a
Otto; and son, Robert L. Young.
 He leaves to cherish his memories a living and devoted wife, Roberta, Pearson, GA;

GA; children, Sherry, Douglas, GA; Barbara, Pearson, GA, James Henry, Orlando, FL,

FL, Emethel (Walter) Ocilla, GA, Lonnie (Myrna), Lawton, OK, James M., Pearson, GA
and
GA and Tommy, Pearson, GA; five sisters, Martha, Jacksonville, FL, Margaret, Canton
Canton, MS, Isabell, Boston, MA, Mary (Charles), LA and Clara, Marion, SC; three 
three brothers, Henry Jr., Charleston, SC, Larry (Barbara), Palatka, FL, Allen,
Jackso
Jacksonville, FL; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; a very dear
friend
friend, Ms. Georgia Reaves and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
 Funeral services for Mr. James Young was held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the S
the St. A.M.E. Church in Pearson, GA at 11 a.m. with Elder Clifford Burch offic
officiating with musical selections by Sis. Anita Jeffery, Sis. Twayla Wilson and t
and the Eva Chapel Choir.
 Honorary pallbearers were Cornelius Moore, Albert Thomas, Curtis Brown, Roscoe
Thom
Thomas, Lonnie Young, Walter Mizell, John Henry Daniels.
 Active pallbearers were Dea. Jamie Lott, Bro. Arthur Smith, Dea. Johnny Lee Ful
Fullmore, Bro. Artis Smith, Dea. Roosevelt Rowels, Bro. Rogers Smith.
 Flower attendants were the community ushers.
 McIver Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of arrangements.
