Mrs. Jimmie Johnson
Services Saturday

Mrs. Jimmie Johnson, age 84, of Rt. #3, Alma died in the
Bacon County Hospital Thursday morning.  She was a native
of Bacon County and a member of the Alma church of God.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Gurnell Carter, Mrs.
E. H. Waters, both of Alma, and Mrs. Virginia Thrasher,
Decatur, Ga., a brother, Bob Lee, Alma; and seven
Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren.  Funeral
services were held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the Alma
Church of God with Rev. T. D. Mooneyham, Rev. Lee Walton
and Rev. Paul Dorsey officiating.  Interment followed in
Rose Hill Cemetery.

Active Pallbears were Russell Taylor, Roy Lee, Wallace
Lee, Jack Kinlaw, DeWitt Lee and James Lee.

Honorary Pallbears were Sterling McCarty, H. H. Aldridge,
Velma Benton, Arch Miles, Dave Pittman, C. C. Hyers,
Seward Smith, Buck Sweat, J. W. Bennett, C. C. Andrews,
Huel Benton, Donald Taylor, Edward Cohen, Rausley Carter,
Julian Carter, Donald Deen, Jack Carter, Roy Carter,
Raymond Hancock.
