Johnson, Jr., age 35, died Thursday night after being hit by a truck near Alma. He was a life long resident of this section and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Jimmie Lee Johnson of Alma, a daugher Guynell Johnson of Spokane, Wash., three sisters, Mrs. Guynelle Carter of Alma, Mrs. E. H. Waters of Alma, and Mrs. Ashley Thrasher, of Atlanta; one brother M. W. Johnson of Palatka, Fla. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 4:30 p. m., at the Alma Church of God with Rev. M. J. Wood and Rev. Ray G. Cox officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery with The Bishop Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers were: Winned Boatright, Charles Camp, T. L. Carter, DeWitt Lee, Roscoe Taylor and Jack Kinlaw. Honorary pallbearers were Wesley Carter, Raymond Hancock, Roy Carter, Jack Carter, J. B. Herster, J. W. Bennett, Adolph Johnson, Buddy Carter, Ernest Wilson, and Roy Lee.
