Lemuel S. Johnson
ALMA, Bacon County, GA. - 
Funeral for Lemuel S. Johnson, 94, will be held today at 2 p.m. at Crosby Funeral
Home.
Burial with military honors will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Friday afternoon at Bacon County Hospital after a lengthy
illness.
He was a retired farmer, a Bacon County native, an Army veteran of World War I and
a member of the American Legion. 

His parents were the late John Johnson and Louise [Sweat] Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Maggie [Slaughter] Johnson, Alma;

five sons, Carroll Johnson and Roy Johnson, both of Cumming, Walter Johnson, Alma,
Darrell Johnson, California, and Irvin Johnson, California, and Irvin Johnson,
Danielsville; 

four daughters, Doris Westberry, Norcross, LaVada Cothren and Annie Boatright,
both of Alma, and Linda Fox, Duluth; 

a sister, Ethel Taylor, Alma; a brother, Lott Johnson, Alma; 

11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
