This is the front view of the cabin that was built by my GGG Grandfather Isaac 
Carter (b. 1790). He built this around the 1830's. He, his wife and 12 children 
lived there. It is located about 500 feet from the Ten Mile Church Cemetery. He 
donated the land for the cemetery and later a church was built there after he 
died. That church did not out last the cabin and has been destroyed and another 
one built in it's place.
