A grave marking dedication for William Edward Lasseter who was born in Burke
Co., GA on July 9, 1825 and died March 9, 1897 in Appling Co., Georgia and is
buried in Alma, Bacon Co., Georgia.
He served in Co. E. 1st Georgia Inf. Enlisting in Savannah, October 1861 and his
last date was May 18, 1865 in Augusta, Georgia.

The dedication was held, August 29, 2009, at the request of his GGGranddaughter,
Rosemary Doyle
