J. Hull & Wild C. Cleveland of said State of the second part. Witnesseth that the said Daniel C. Kelly for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars to him in hand paid at and before the signing and sealing of this presents by the said John I Hull and Wild C. Cleveland the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged as well as for the better securing the payment of a certain primary note being even date with these presents and due the same date for the sum of sixty dollars has bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents grant, bargain and convey unto the said John I Hull and Wild C. Cleveland a certain sorrel horse stallion about nine years of age, to have and to hold said mortgaged property to the said Wild C. Cleveland and John I Hull in fee simple provided nonetheless that if the said Daniel C Kelly shall pay or cause to be paid the aforesaid amount of sixty dollars promptly when it shall become due the said note as well this bill of sale shall cause to be void.
