Witnesseth that the said Neil McLegan for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & fifty dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and does by these presents grant, bargain, sell & convey unto the said William Tiner his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the (8) Eighth District of originally Early now Baker County, known & distinquished in the plan of said District by the number (7) seven containing two hundred and fifty (250) acres more or less, to have and to hold unto to him the said William Tiner his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple. And the said Neil McLegan for himself his heirs, executors and administrators, the said bargained land & premises unto the said William Tiner his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the rights and title thereof free from the claims of himself or themselves but not free from the claims of any other person. Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of ($500) dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt hereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, ? and conveyed and confirmed by the presents does grant, bargain, sell, ?, convey and construe unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all the following property lying and being in the 8 district of originally Early now Baker Co, GA containing two hundred and fifty acres more or less known and distinguished in the plan of said district as lot number 7 to have & to hold the above granted and described property with all singular the rights premises and appurtenances otherunto apprentasing to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple.
