Macon Messenger (newspaper) 25 July 1844

Executor’s Sale.—Will be sold to the highest bidder at the court house in Baker 
county, (Newton) on the first Tuesday in October next, the following Lots of 
Land in one tract, viz:  Lot No 269 in the 4th district, and Lots No. 145, 764, 
96, 97 and 137, in the third district formerly Early now Baker county, lying on 
the Chickasawhatchey creek, the entire settlement being rich, without 
improvements.  The Lands are desirable.  Purchasers of land in the low country, 
would do well to examine them, and attend the sale.—They will be sold for the 
purpose of a distribution of the estate of ROBERT COLEMAN, dec’d and sold as 
his property under the will.  Titles will be indisputable.  Terms on the day of 
sale.
