ROSIE MAY YOUNG Nov 11, 1921 – Mar 9, 1992 Mrs. Rosie Mae Young, 70 died at her residence March 9, 1992. Born in Baker County on Nov 11, 1921, Mrs. Young was a long time member of Springfield Missionary Baptist church in Baker County. Services for Mrs. Young were Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Springfield M.B. Church with the rev. R. polite officiating Burial followed in the church cemetery and deacons and trustees of Springfield M. B. Church served as pallbearers. Surviving Mrs. Young are her husband Maackroy Young; four daughters, Winfrent Butler and Dianne Young of Bainbridge, Lillian Byrd of Quincy, Fla., and Arlette Young Butts of Vienna; one son, Mack Arthur Young of Bainbridge; one brother Johnell Gadson of Tampa; five sisters, Carrie B. Benton and Lodie B. Moore of Colquitt, Gladys Dukes of Baconton, Mattie C. Burns of Canton, Ohio, and Fannie E. Elliot of Largo, Fla.; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
