This portrait photo is of Cornelius Franklin Norris (1857-1920) as a young man circa
1880.  He was the son of Thomas Norris & Frances Eliza (Myrick) Norris of Newton,
Baker Co., GA. In March 1883 he married Emily Arthur McGregor, daughter of Capt.
John A. McGregor and Margaret Jane (Johnston) McGregor.  They had 4 daughters and 1
son.  He was half owner of the C. E. Norris & Bros. mercantile business in Newton,
Baker Co., GA.
