The banquet was in appreciation of Mr. Moore's service to Msonic (sic) bodies. He is the third man in the history of Georgia Masonry who has served as the grand oficer (sic) of all four York Right branches of Masonry. On Monday night in Macon Mr. Moore received the Grand Order of the York Cross of Honor. He is the only man in Georgia eligible for this honor. The main address of the (sic) at the banquet was delivered by Dr. J. C. Wilkinson, pastor of the First Baptist church, Athens. Mr. Moore a native of Taliaferro county was reared in Sharon, son of Mrs. A. D. Moore and the late Mr. Moore. Mr. Moore in (sic) engaged in the undertaking business in Milledgeville. He represented Baldwin county in the House of Representatives for a number of terms and is a trustee of G. M. C. College, Milledgeville.
