Fannie L. Florence

Mrs. Fannie Litman Florence, 83, of Ocilla, passed away
Thursday, February 20,1997.
        Mrs. Florence was born June 22,1913 in Baldwin and moved to Irwin 
county an early age. She
was the daughter of Willie and Adel Harris Litman.
       She was a homemaker and was a member of Mathis Chapel Baptist Church.
     Survivors include two sons: Welcie Florence of Ocilla and Daniel 
Florence of Irvington,NJ; two sisters: Lavonia Simpson, Cincinnati,Ohand 
Adel Savage of Fort Lauderdale, Fl; one brother Valder Litman of Ocilla; 
nine grandchiIdren, 13 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
    Funeral services were held Sunday February23,1997 at 2:00 p.m. at  
Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ocilla with Elder Alton Litman officiating.
   Interment was in the Ocilla City Cemetery.
   Special music was provided by the choir of Bethlehem Baptist Church 
and Soloist Evelyn Anderson.
    Pallbearers were James Florence,Demetrius Walker,  
Rodney Florence, Anthony Walker,Curtis Florence, Trent Walker and Jibri 
Battle.Honorary pallbearers were Welcie Florence, Daniel Florence and 
Willie Fred Walker.
 Abel Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
