                              Mrs. Maddox
 Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Brantley Maddox, age 72, were held 
Sunday, September 16, at three o'clock at the Hardwick Methodist Church with 
the Reverend J. B. Duling officiating. Burial was in Baldwin Memorial Gardens 
Cemetery.
 Mrs. Maddox was a retired employee of Central State Hospital and a member of 
the Hardwick Methodist Church.
 Survivors include one son, Mr. Lewis A. Maddox of Daphyne Drive, 
Milledgeville; two daughters, Mrs. Wesley Law of Dublin and Mrs. Barney 
Collins Jr. of  Carrington Woods, Milledgeville; and five grandchildren.
 Moore's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Elizabeth was born 6-12-1901 to Freeman Charles Brantley and Margaret 
Ozina "Babe" Foskey Brantley. Both parents are buried in the Foskey Cemetery 
in Johnson County,Georgia. Georgia death certificate #028357.
