                      Lewis Alexander Maddox III
 MILLEDGEVILLE----Lewis Alexander Maddox III, 68, died Wednesday February 16, 
2005. Services are 2pm Saturday at Hardwick United Methodist Church with Rev. 
John Haynes and Rev. George Wilmot officiating. Burial will follow in Baldwin 
Memorial Gardens.
 Mr. Maddox was a native of Laurens County but had made his home in 
Milledgeville. He retired from the Georgia National Guard with 41 years of 
service. He was the son of the late Lewis Alexander and Elizabeth Mae Brantley 
Maddox Jr. He was a member of Hardwick United Methodist Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Maddox of Milledgeville; a son, Howard 
Maddox (Denise) of Fitzgerald; sisters, Dorothy Collins of Milledgeville and 
Mary Law of Concord, NC; granddaughter, Savannah Maddox; and a number of 
nieces and nephews.
 The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 8pm at Moores Funeral 
Home.
