Well-Known Woman Passes Suddenly.

Dublin, Ga., January 10-
News of the death in Milledgeville last week of Miss Ellen Metts, was received 
in this city yesterday by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Metts.
The young woman had been ill for about 10 days, it is said, and although her 
condition was known to be critical, her death was a serious shock to relatives 
and friends.  She was 28 years of age and a member of one of the oldest and 
most prominent families in middle Georgia.  Funeral services had not been 
completed today.
