                            Mrs. Hubie M. Roberts
 Mrs. Anne Lucille Smith Roberts, 49, wife of Hubie M. Roberts, of 607 
Cuthbertson Stret, Monroe, died Saturday. She was a nurses' aid at Union 
Memorial Hospital.
 Mrs. Roberts was born Jan. 6, 1923 in Baldwin County, Ga. and was the 
daughter of the late Terrell and Laura Stewart Smith.
 She is survived by: her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Shelton Whitley of 
Monroe; two sons, William Roberts and Richard Roberts, both of Monroe; one 
grandchild; also her stepmother, Mrs. J. T. Smith of Milledgeville, Ga.; one 
sister, Mrs. Binion Turner Statesboro, Ga.; and one brother, Curtis Smith of 
Milledgeville.
 Funeral services were held Monday, July 24, at 2pm at McEwen's Chapel with 
Rev. Dennis Whitley officiating. Burial was in Lakeland Memorial Park.
