The Rev. Norman Williams will officiate. Burial will be in West View Cemetery. Mr. Smith, a life long resident of Baldwin County, died April 6. He was a former employee of J. P. Stevens and the owner and operator of B & A Service Center. He was the Director of the Georgia Association of Petroleum Retailers and a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the Hardwick United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Louise R. Smith of Milledgeville; three sons, James D. Smith of Conyers and David Smith and Randall Smith, both of Milledgeville; two daughters, Judy Wooldridge of Macon and Kathy Portwood of Milledgeville; his mother, Laura Stewart Smith of Milledgeville; one sister, Myrtle Turner of Statesboro; and four grandchildren.
