Stewart Funeral services for Willie Brinson Stewart, 66, an employee of Milledgeville, held at 2pm Tuesday in the Hardwick Baptist Church. Officiating were the Rev. Alex Hamil, the Rev. Norman Williams, and the Rev. James Nipper. Burial was in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Stewart died Saturday after a short illness. He was a native of Johnson County and had lived in Hardwick for the last 11 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Aline Grice Stewart of Hardwick; two daughters, Mrs. Berry Pierce of Hardwick and Mrs. Daniel Frink of Augusta; two sons, T/Sgt Willie Edsel Stewart, stationed with the US Air Force in Germany and T/Sp David Stewart Sr. of Warner Robins; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Smith and Mrs. Lena Edison, both of Milledgeville; and seven grandchildren. Additional Comments: Willie was born 17 Nov 1899 to W. D. "Willie" Stewart and Melise "Melia" Margaret Foskey Stewart. Georgia death certificate #010755.
